"This historic moment comes at a time of great uncertainty for many Americans. We have now been through nearly a decade of war. We have endured a long and painful recession. And sometimes in the midst of these storms, the future that we are trying to build for our nation - a future of lasting peace and long-term prosperity - may seem beyond our reach"

bullet James Cameroon and 'Piranha' producer indulge in 3-D war of words corner

An open war of words has broken down between director 'James Cameroon' and 'Piranha 3-D' producer 'Mark Canton'.

The verbal scuffle between the two started when Cameroon commented in an ill tone about the satirical comedy 'Piranha-3D'.

Cameron, who inspired all the Hollywood studios to turn to 3-D with phenomenal success of 'Avatar', commented last week that 'Piranha 3-D' is exactly an example of what one should not be doing in 3-D as it cheapens the medium, reports the New York Post.

The comment received a furious reply in a letter from the producer.

"Mr. Cameron, who singles himself out to be a visionary of movie making, seems to have a small vision regarding any motion pictures that are not his own. His comments are ridiculous, self-serving and insulting to those of us who are not caught up serving his ego and his rhetoric," the New York Post quoted Canton as saying. (ANI)
