    (ANI)

Soldier Katrina Hodge, who represented England at the Miss World event in South Africa in 2009, has given marching orders to the swimsuit round of the beauty contest.

For the first time since it was founded more than 50 years ago, the Miss England competition will not include a swimwear round, thanks to Hodge a.k.a Combat Barbie, reports The Telegraph.

And in place of it, participants will take part in a sports challenge overseen by Lance Corporal Hodge. (ANI)
