    African Union delegation calls on Tharoor

    The visiting African Union delegation on Thursday called on Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor in the national capital.

    The 15-member delegation met Tharoor a day after the two countries launched an action plan seeking closer cooperation in agriculture and setting up of new training institutes by India in several areas, ranging from foreign trade, education and Information Technology.he action plan outlines a strategy for strengthening bilateral relations.

    Both India and Africa aim to increase the bilateral trade upto 70 billion dollars by 2015. (ANI)
